While Pinnacle PSG, one of Pinnacle Group’s five core businesses, is proud to have held Investors in People accreditation for the past 16 years, this new accreditation extends across all five brands under Pinnacle Group.

Just 16 per cent of UK employers are currently accredited with IIP, with those organisations that do meet the world-recognised standard reflecting the very best in people management excellence.

Pinnacle Group HR Director Andy Lee said:

“We are delighted to have been awarded the highly-regarded IIP status this year – the first for the Group as a united entity,” he said.

“Independent verification of our culture is always welcome, and this result is testament to all the good work that managers and staff do every day to build and maintain a positive culture, and make Pinnacle a great place to work.”

The assessors commended the Group on its approachable leadership style, friendly and relaxed culture and positive collaborative environment. In the assessment, IIP said:

“This is a fantastic achievement particularly as this is the first time the organisation has been assessed against the new Investors in People sixth generation Framework.”

“The themes that have performed particularly well are ‘Leading and Inspiring People’, ‘Empowering and Involving People’, ‘Managing Performance’, ‘Structuring Work’ and ‘Building Capability’.”

The assessment process took three months to complete, and consisted of both interviews and an online questionnaire.
