Group Chief Executive

Perry is the Co-Founder and Group Chief Executive of Pinnacle Group. After university, where he studied economics and politics, Perry started his working life as a fund manager but soon left the City to co-found his own property services business in the early 1980s. It was this business that in the late ‘90s acquired two businesses which had commenced providing outsourced housing management services to Local Authorities in the UK. From this base, Perry has led the expansion of Pinnacle Group which is now a leading private sector provider of services and investment into the social and physical regeneration of communities.

Andrew Saunders

Andrew Saunders

Group Finance & Resources Director

Andrew is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (FCA) and holder of the ICAEW’s Corporate Finance (CF) qualification. A graduate of Durham University, Andrew joined Pinnacle Group in 2009 having worked in the M&A and Private Equity advisory team at RSM (formerly Baker Tilly). Whilst at Pinnacle Andrew has led on the disposal and acquisition of joint venture interests as well as fundraising and shareholder projects whilst taking on senior management roles. Andrew has responsibility for the Finance, HR and IT departments as well as being Chairman of our flagship regeneration scheme. Andrew works alongside Perry on strategy, corporate development and change programs, including the rebranding and restructuring of the Group in 2015. Outside the office, Andrew is a Council Member of the Amateur Football Association and enjoys playing golf, cricket and football, skiing and watching rugby.

Sammy Lee

Non-Executive Director

After training as a lawyer in England, Sammy Lee ran his own, highly successful law firm in Hong Kong, specialising in litigation. As an entrepreneur, he has been involved in a variety of businesses, from property to film and aviation. He has delivered quality residential properties in London, Hong Kong, and New York, including The Knightsbridge in London for the Cheng family. Sammy oversees the Cheng family interests at both Greenwich Peninsula (Knight Dragon) and in Pinnacle Group.

Penny Elliott

Non-Executive Director

Penny is a partner at Forsters LLP, where she specialises in advising clients with multiple business interests on legal and strategic issues. She works with a range of clients; from overseas investors, institutional property owners, landed estates and high net worth individuals. In addition Penny has an established reputation as an advisor to the owner/operators of 5 star and boutique hotels.


As well as the Pinnacle Group, Penny is a non-executive director of Knight Dragon Investments Limited, a director of the Fitzwilliam Museum Development Trust in Cambridge, a member of the Leisure Property Forum, the European Landowners Association and the CLA (London Branch Committee Member).

Jonathan Rann

Non-Executive Director

Jonathan qualified as a chartered accountant in 1991 with London-based firm Dixon Wilson, where he worked for eight years. He has spent the last nine years working mainly in property-related business for the Cheng family, particularly The Knightsbridge development. Before that, he worked for six years in senior finance roles for one of the largest global advertising and media agency networks. Jonathan’s principal role is with the Cheng family investment in Knight Dragon, the development vehicle for Greenwich Peninsula and oversees their investment in Pinnacle Group, with Sammy and Richard.

Richard Margree

Non-Executive Director

Richard has worked in the real estate industry throughout his career. After training in law, he became a partner at Clifford Chance in 2006 and then joined a real estate fund. Richard met Sammy Lee in late 2011. Richard’s principal role is with the Cheng family investment in Knight Dragon, the development vehicle for Greenwich Peninsula and oversees their investment in Pinnacle Group, with Sammy and Jonathan.
