Pinnacle Group has announced its latest joint venture with the launch of Grain – the latest and most advanced fibre broadband network in the UK.

The Grain network, a joint venture between Pinnacle Group and Solway Communications, offers residents broadband speeds of well over 1,000 megabits per second (Mb) – 35 times faster than the UK average.

Managing Director Richard Robinson said Grain hyperfast broadband was one of the few networks to deliver a ‘true fibre’ connection to homes.

“We are so excited to be launching a brand that is genuinely different for customers, starting with the ability to provide true fibre networks and the fastest internet speeds the UK has seen to date,” he said.

“We design, build, install, operate and maintain a brand new community network in every development we work in, providing a risk-free simpler model for the developer.

“A ‘true’ fibre network installs a direct path from the internet to the router in each living room – in other words, the connection is yours and yours only, with absolutely no congestion at peak times.”

“Grain is a refreshing alternative to your standard provider – yes, we are hyperfast, but more importantly we are supereasy – with open and clear pricing, no connection fees, free line rentals and unlimited data limits,” he said.

Mr Robinson said the company builds on its founding partners’ roots, and is well-placed to offer a product – and service – set to transform the sector.

“We are proud of our heritage from both Solway and Pinnacle, having built up these networks for more than 10 years now, with our designs and customer service consistently proving they are well above anything else out there,” he said.

“It is a very exciting time – speeds like this are not only set to transform the market, but will change the way we think and use the internet, indeed transforming our digital lives.”

Grain provide true fibre broadband into new residential and community infrastructure developments across the UK, such as housing estates and schools, directly competing with all major broadband providers including BT, Virgin, Sky and Talk Talk.
