Group Chief Executive

Perry is the Co-Founder and Group Chief Executive of Pinnacle Group. After university, where he studied economics and politics, Perry started his working life as a fund manager but soon left the City to co-found his own property services business in the early 1980s. It was this business that in the late ‘90s acquired two businesses which had commenced providing outsourced housing management services to Local Authorities in the UK. From this base, Perry has led the expansion of Pinnacle Group which is now a leading private sector provider of services and investment into the social and physical regeneration of communities.

Christopher Hodson

Chief Financial Officer

Christopher is the Group’s Chief Financial Officer responsible for financial planning and reporting, management of financial and commercial risks and finance-related operations. He works alongside the Group Chief Executive producing detailed forecasts for business planning, risk management and strategic purposes.


Christopher has over 15 years of pan-European real estate industry experience, focusing on defining, creating and implementing financial strategies for the real estate market involved in structuring real estate transactions in excess of €1 billion.


Prior to joining Pinnacle, he worked for Lands Improvement Holdings, Resolution Property, Treasury Holdings, Blackrock and most recently was the Finance Director of Tunstall Real Estate.


Christopher is a Chartered Accountant having qualified at PwC in 2000.

Claire Kober Pinnacle Group

Claire Kober

Managing Director Homes

Claire joined Pinnacle Group in May 2018 as Director of Housing to lead its delivery of high-quality and innovative housing management services. She sits on the Pinnacle Group executive committee.


Prior to joining Pinnacle, Claire spent a decade in local government as Leader of the London Borough of Haringey where she prioritised improving education outcomes for all children, wide-scale regeneration and delivering better housing. Claire is a former Chair of London Councils – the regional body that brings together the capital’s 32 boroughs to lobby for fairer funding and a better quality of life for Londoners and also represented the region on the London Enterprise Panel. She served as finance portfolio holder for the Local Government Association. In 2015, Claire was awarded an OBE for services to local government.

jim saunders

Jim Saunders

Group Director of Business Development

Jim Saunders is Group Director of Business Development with particular responsibility for integrated, community-facing offers to the public sector that draw on the Group’s full delivery capacity and capability across all Pinnacle brands.

Jim has a Masters degree in Housing from the London School of Economics and began his housing career working for local authority housing departments in London over 25 years ago. Jim specialises in large scale, long-term Public Private Partnerships (PPP) and has extensive contacts in the housing sector within both central and local government.

Jim joined Pinnacle Group in 1996 and became a Director in 2001. He now leads on developing new business opportunities and co-ordinating all marketing activities.


Nick Wright

Group Director of Commercial & Legal

Nick has a Masters degree in Business Administration and began his career in the public sector working in IT, and financial / management information systems. Nick left in 1995 to join the original Pinnacle PSG team. In the early years Nick managed Pinnacle’s internal consultancy service, implementing a quality framework for the organisation and developing a financial modelling / bid analysis structure to tender for work under Compulsory Competitive Tendering (CCT) and subsequently Best Value. Roles including Regional Manager, Financial Controller and Commercial Director followed as the business grew.

Toby Heysham

Toby Heysham

Managing Director – Pinnacle Power

Toby has extensive experience in delivering heat based district energy and has worked on projects from 100kW to 87 MW of heat generating plant. He focuses on working with councils and developers to deliver the most innovative solution possible both financially and practically.

Toby worked in land mine clearance for Halo Trust before moving to work in finance at the Bank of New York Mellon. He left to join the Carbon Census as head of operations. He then co-founded Novapower and subsequently Pinnacle Power.


Neil Fergus

Managing Director FM

Neil joined Pinnacle PSG in 1997 to work in our first social housing management contract in Marylebone, Westminster. He swiftly progressed through the ranks, carrying out various management roles before taking on overall responsibility for Pinnacle PSG’s five contracts in Westminster in 2003. He was made a Director in 2005.

Neil moved across to the Facilities Management sector in 2006, where he lead the transition of the Essex County Council DLO to Pinnacle PSG. This involved the management of a significant culture change programme covering 750 members of staff. In 2008, the Education PFI business was also added to Neil’s portfolio. This involves the delivery of a total facilities management service to 19 schools within four contracts based in Slough, Clacton, Leeds & Kirklees. This business has continually improved year on year, providing excellent services to our customers. This was highlighted by Clacton winning the Best Operational Project at the 2014 Partnership Awards.

In his current role Neil is responsible for all soft FM and total FM contracts for a wide range of clients, including Registered Providers, Councils, Schools and the Private Sector.


Andy Lee

HR Director

Andy’s career began in banking, at Coutts & Co, where he gained exposure to the commercial world, working in corporate lending within the credit risk function of the bank.  He then moved into a Consultancy role with a small firm in Staffordshire (Research Associates), working in business to business market research, specialising in qualitative research.  After completing a Masters Degree in Strategic HR Management, he moved into HR in 1998, joining Pinnacle PSG in 2000, and becoming HR Director in 2002.

Andy’s responsibility is to ensure our people strategies maximize the organisation’s capability to deliver its strategic objectives, while protecting us from the risks associated with employment law.  Andy is also a qualified employment law paralegal.
