School uniform vouchers

After Hyde’s successful campaign last year, Pinnacle have joined forces with Hyde to offer school uniform vouchers to our own residents.

We’re emailing all customers with children in reception to year 11 for the school year starting September 2026, a £50 voucher towards school uniforms.

FAQs

Primary school and secondary school children are eligible for a school uniform voucher, aged between 4 – 16 years old. The voucher can be spent with the school uniform supplier Trutex.

We’re sending out the vouchers in June – we’ll share information from Trutex on how to use your voucher by then.

With over 160 years of expertise, Trutex are on the UK’s leading school wear brands. You can read more about them on their website: Trutex

Yes – you can only use the voucher on the Trutex website.

They do supply plenty of non-branded uniform and have a range of items to suit different budgets – everything from polo shirts to tights and from multi packs to sports kit. It’s totally up to you.

The voucher is eligible for 6 months, until 31st October 2026.

Your voucher also includes free postage and packing. This includes shipping to your home address or ship-to-shop.

All returns to Trutex are free. If you need to return any items, you can follow Trutex’s usual returns process.

When your return has been completed, Trutex will refund you with a gift voucher to your email address for the cost of the returned items.

If you spent more than the voucher amount, using the voucher and covering the additional cost yourself, Trutex will refund you using a gift voucher up to the value of the voucher code and any additional costs will be refunded to your payment method. For example, if you spent £55 and returned items totalling £15, Trutex will refund you a gift voucher for £10 and £5 returned to your payment method.

If your uniform comes to more than the voucher total, you can pay the additional cost yourself.

We’re emailing voucher codes to all households with children in reception to year 11 for the school year starting September 2026 a £50 voucher towards school uniforms.

If you have a child living in a Pinnacle home who is not listed as a household member, you can contact us to update your tenancy agreement.

The vouchers are also available if you’re a foster carer, guardian or special guardian.

We’re sending the codes in June.

If you have not received an email, please check your spam folder. If it’s not there, you can contact us to make sure we have the correct email address on file for your household.

Some local councils offer grants to help with the cost of school uniforms, especially for families with children transitioning to secondary school.

Check your local council website for details.  If they do not have a specific school uniform fund, under the Crisis and Resilience Fund, councils in England can access funding to help people most in need with the cost of daily essentials, including school clothing.

Many schools also provide help with uniform – access to grants and second-hand uniform shops. Check your school’s website for more information.

We know that not everybody has the access to the internet. Asking friends and family for help can be a good option. You can often get free wi-fi locally, including in libraries and museums.

Online Centres Network provide access to the internet and help using it. Some centres also offer training courses. These services are usually free. Enter your postcode to search for centres in your area.

The vouchers are thanks to the Hyde Charitable Trust and social value contributions from our partners, including Trutex.

Rent and service charges are not used to fund these.

Find out what items are available with your voucher through Trutex, by clicking here.

You can spend all your voucher in one purchase or split it across several purchases.

The free post and packaging are only valid for one purchase, so spending as close to your voucher amount as you can will mean you get the most out of the free post and packaging.

You can spend more than the voucher amount and pay the additional cost yourself.

If you already have some uniform items now, your voucher is valid until 31 October 2026, so you can purchase some items later in the year. You could even think ahead to next year and buy some larger sizes.

Trutex also have lots of advice, hints and tips on how to get the most out of your voucher:

If you have questions about ordering your uniform, you can use the chat function at www.trutex.com or go to Contact Us on Trutex’s website.
