Pinnacle Group has appointed former BlackRock real estate leader Justin Brown to its Board, bringing almost three decades of experience spanning real estate investment, asset management, housing and governance across the UK and Europe.

Justin spent a decade at BlackRock, joining the global investment manager in 2012 to run its UK Property Fund before being appointed to lead its European real estate business in 2017. Prior to BlackRock, he was a portfolio manager for the UBS Triton Property Fund and held a senior role at LaSalle Investment Management.

His appointment brings significant institutional investment and property expertise to Pinnacle as the Group continues to grow its housing, neighbourhood and workplace services businesses and develop long-term partnerships across the UK.

Alongside his role at Pinnacle, Justin is a non-executive director of Hyde Group, of which Pinnacle is a part, where he has also served on the Group Investment Committee since 2023. He also holds board roles with real estate investment businesses in the UK and continental Europe, giving him current experience spanning housing, investment, property and governance.
"Justin brings a rare combination of institutional investment expertise and a deep understanding of property, housing and long-term asset stewardship. He has led major real estate businesses, worked with investors and partners across the UK and Europe and brings significant governance experience.
His experience will be enormously valuable as we continue to grow Pinnacle, develop new partnerships and build on the strong platform we have established. I am delighted to welcome Justin to the Board and look forward to working with him."
Peregrine Lloyd
Chief Executive Officer of Pinnacle Group

Justin’s experience has involved managing property and investment teams on behalf of institutional investors, alongside a growing focus on the role that long-term capital can play in housing and real estate. Through his work with Hyde, he has also highlighted the opportunity to build relationships between housing organisations and long-term capital partners.

Commenting on his appointment, Justin said: “Pinnacle has built a strong business around something that I believe is fundamental to successful real estate: the long-term stewardship of property and places. There is a real opportunity to build on those strengths as Pinnacle grows and develops new partnerships, and I am looking forward to bringing my experience to the Board and supporting the Group in its next phase.”
