Julian Newiss is the Founding Partner of Catalyst Capital LLP, and is primarily responsible for new acquisitions and deal structuring, as well as taking a leading role in setting market strategies. He has extensive contacts in the British and European property markets that he has used to source many of Catalyst’s transactions.

Julian began his real estate career with Jones Lang Wootton, later becoming a Director of a number of London and Edinburgh Trust PLC’s international development companies. In 1993, he joined Kennedy-Wilson as European Managing Director before it became Greenwich Group International (GGI) – a global real estate investment banking and marketing group – in 1995. It was here Julian led a management buyout in 2000 to create Catalyst Capital.

Julian is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He graduated from the University of Westminster with a degree in Urban Estate Management in 1976.
