Pinnacle Affordable Homes is a long-established Registered Provider of Affordable Housing. It is 100%-owned by Pinnacle Group and was registered with the Regulator of Social Housing on 29th March 2012.
It is fully supported by Pinnacle Group’s nationwide operating platform, built up over 30 years of sector experience.
Pinnacle Affordable Homes has a simple aim: to reduce the reliance of Local Authorities nationwide on costly, poorly managed and inappropriate forms of temporary accommodation.

Pinnacle Affordable Homes has developed and is successfully operating one of the UK’s first temporary to permanent Affordable Housing solutions in South East London.
Our Board
Piers White
Piers has over 30 years’ experience in senior leadership, holding over 50 board and non‑executive roles across housing, public services, financial services and the not‑for‑profit sector. His previous Chair and Non-executive positions include board roles in Education, Health, Housing, logistics, technology and business services. He brings extensive governance, regulatory and housing sector expertise, drawing on 25 years of non‑executive experience in public‑purpose organisations.
Earlier in his career, Piers held senior executive roles in financial services at Barclays, Flemings and Insinger de Beaufort, where he served as UK Chief Executive. His contribution to public service was recognised with an MBE in 2009.
Gerri Scott
Gerri has over 30 years’ senior leadership experience across local authorities, and housing associations. Her previous roles include Executive Group Director of Customer Service at L&Q and Strategic Director of Housing and Modernisation at Southwark Council, London’s largest social housing landlord. She has also held senior posts in several London boroughs, specialising in housing management, regeneration, customer service and performance improvement.
Since 2023, Gerri has developed a consultancy focused on organisational transformation and culture change, supporting local authorities’ housing functions to respond to the changing regulatory environment. She also brings notable non‑executive experience, including serving on the Board of Pinnacle Affordable Homes and chairing City of London Corporation’s Housing Improvement Board.
Dominic Grace
Dominic is a leading specialist in residential development, following a 37‑year career at Savills where he helped establish the successful London Residential Development team and served on the Savills UK Board. He advised on many major development and regeneration projects, building deep expertise in consultancy, sales strategy and market trends.
Highly connected across the UK property sector, he now runs an advisory practice supporting corporate clients, major development schemes and innovation-led businesses. An Eminent Fellow of RICS, he is also a regular industry speaker and advocate for PropTech, innovation and Modern Methods of Construction.
Nick Wright
Nick Wright is Group Commercial & Legal Director with overall responsibility for governance, risk management and compliance. Nick chairs our Investment Committee, which provides the review and approval framework for managing the risks of contracting across the group. Our Project Management Office and ESG teams also report into him.
Nick was part of the original Pinnacle team, joining in 1995 and subsequently becoming a Director in 2001. In the early years, Nick managed Pinnacle’s internal consultancy service. Roles including Regional Manager, PFI Bid Director, Commercial Director and Commercial & Finance Director followed as the business grew.
Nick has a Masters degree in Business Administration and began his career in the public sector working in financial / management information systems.
Christopher Hodson
Christopher is the Group’s Chief Financial Officer responsible for financial planning and reporting, management of financial and commercial risks and finance-related operations. He works alongside the Group Chief Executive and senior management team in relation to business planning, strategy and risk management.
Christopher has over 15 years of pan-European real estate industry experience, focusing on defining, creating and implementing financial strategies for the real estate market involved in structuring real estate transactions in excess of €1 billion.
Prior to joining Pinnacle, he worked for Lands Improvement Holdings, Resolution Property, Treasury Holdings, Blackrock and most recently was the Finance Director of Tunstall Real Estate.
Christopher is a Chartered Accountant having qualified at PwC in 2000.
Jim Saunders
Jim Saunders is Group Business Development Director with overall responsibility for driving growth across the whole business.
Jim joined the Pinnacle business in 1996 and became a Director in 2001. During his early Pinnacle years, he specialised in the delivery of outsourced housing and neighbourhood management services. He went on to become Managing Director of Regenter (a Pinnacle subsidiary specialising in large-scale housing-led regeneration) which established itself as a market leader in the UK’s housing PPP market. Jim set up and established Pinnacle Spaces as one of the first For Profit Registered Providers of Affordable Housing in the country.
Jim has a Masters degree in Housing from the London School of Economics and began his career working for local authorities in London.
